My role involved attending European Board Meetings, working alongside Business Managers, IT Managers and the senior members of the Human Resources team to look at a businesses recruitment requirements on current and up and coming projects. My role involved developing relationships with potential candidates, head hunting , ensuring competitors were aware of my clients and the benefits of moving over to their company. Many of the roles were for very highly skilled individuals (in sectors including IT, Investment Banking and Defence in particular) so many of the roles involved approaching candidates who were not actively seeking work and making them aware of the benefits of a move to a specific client.
