      Oxford Brookes Racing: Automous is a team of computing, engineering, and other discipline students, that work together to prepare an autonomous drive-by-wire race car's software and hardware system to and compete in a range of dynamic and static tasks in Formula Student UK: Artifical Intelligence against many other teams from other universities. My duty is foremost in the Localisation and Mapping, Simulation, sub teams of the AI section to create software for an autonomous race car. Working with team our work across sections including Perception, Localisation and Mapping, Simulation, Planning and Control, Vehicle Development, Integration. Robotics pipeline. Studying robotics, mathematics, applying techniques practically, and learning communication and collaborative skills. We develop software with ROS2, Unity, Gazebo. Python is heavily used but C++ should be used more in the future. OBR encourages the exploration of many skills. It teaches an interest to explore computer vision, control systems, linear algebra, probability statistics, calculus, electronics, vehicle dynamics, and much more to solve problems. There is a lot to learn and contribute to.
