  After performing the supervisor role temporarily for 3 months while the previous supervisor was on paternity leave, when a supervisor position because available, i appreciated the opportunity to take the position permanently. My role includes supervising the staff, scheduling the workload to ensure that deadlines are met for our clients. I also ensure that the SOP's are followed and the GMP requirements are met. I also perform troubleshooting on the instruments and arrange for outside repairs as required. I also perform raw data checking to ensure accuracy of results, and report directly to the laboratory manager.
