Louisa and I worked on a plastics recovery project in Senior High Schools, Accra , Ghana. The project contributed to the plastics circular economy and received great commendation from stakeholders and beneficiary schools. During the period, we worked together on the same team and coordinated key project components. Louisa, contributed immensely to the drafting, review and publishing of educational materials for the project. She was prompt, meticulous and consistent. Additionally, Louisa demonstrated exceptional knowledge and professionalism in her role and contributed significantly to the achievement of our goals. I recommend Louisa for professional roles.

I lead the operationalisation of GRIPE's strategy for integrating sustainable plastic waste management solutions in Ghana along four (4) pillars. So far, I have spearheaded the development and execution of 27+ projects across these four pillars in a way that aligns with our commitments and strategic targets/goals. Specifically; 1. Collections and Second-life Solutions: Deploying and managing a $250,000+ budget annually, to deliver on strategic projects aligned to waste collection, recovery, and second-life solutions for plastics. Additionally enabling $130,000+ in additional funding through external donors. 2. Public Education and Advocacy: I manage GRIPE's digital media campaign in collaboration with a digital marketing agency unlocking 9.5 million+ engagements in the first 17 months. I lead partnerships to carry out targeted plastic waste management campaigns in communities and schools reaching a 5 million+ audience. Additionally, I led the development and launch of a robust volunteer scheme, recruiting 100+ volunteers in 3 months. Furthermore, I facilitate monthly steering committee meetings, plan and submit annual work plans and provide timely project status updates and reports on GRIPE's activities to key stakeholders. Again, I led the development and launch of GRIPE's maiden newsletter to inform stakeholders of our projects and upcoming events. 3. Data and Research: In 2022, I enabled further research into plastic waste use in infrastructure leading to establishing methodologies/protocols for improving materials made from recycled materials. This opens doors to keep the material in the value chain to maximize the circular economy of plastics in Ghana. 4. Multi-stakeholder Collaboration: I champion GRIPE’s stakeholder engagement strategy, and convey ideas and information to inform actions thus, leading to increased support and development of necessary partnerships and affirming GRIPE as a thought leader in the plastic management space in Ghana.
