Working for a multi-million pound Global company, I joined WSP as a Team Secretary, after 2 years promoted to Senior Secretary before being promoted to Personal Assistant.Working for a team of 5 Directors, including the Head of London MEP and Head of Smart Buildings. Extensive diary and inbox management, completing expenses, booking internal/external meetings, booking travel and accommodation both in the UK and overseas. Taking minutes in client meetings as well as internal meetings, taking actions for my directors from Board meetings and actioning accordingly. Organising events and lunches, liaising directly with clients, preparing reports and bids for high-profile clients using the in-house templates, typing of all correspondences, using Microsoft packages as well as PDF Writer and In-Design to create bids and various other presentations.I was responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the office, including ensuring all health and safety forms are completed and that the MEP team was running at over 90% completion. Ensuring weekly timesheets were completed on time, helping to hit completion target every week. This also included setting up all new starters, inductions completed, and assisted with IT and training them on the company procedures and systems.
