The Story Lab is the partnership division of the global media agency Dentsu Aegis. Working with global brands The Story Lab creates media content that helps brands tell their story, gain cultural traction and increase market share. As Account Executive I coordinate and manage projects with global brands, such as Panasonic, IKEA, E.ON and Merlin Entertainments. Architectural Assistant

Architype are the UK’s leading Architects for sustainable buildings and a AJ100 firm. During my time at Architype I worked alongside the Director as Design Lead for a county wide regeneration competition. The client, the UK’s 4th largest property and infrastructure consultancy, budgeted £1m for the bid, with schemes ranging from student accommodation to residential masterplanning for 850 homes. On a number of occasions I was given sole responsibility for client interaction at senior level. I attended meetings at the clients premises updating them on design development and responding to their questions.

Part 1 Architectural Assistant

During my year at Gresford I worked directly and creatively on over 25 projects - ranging from winning new business to understanding client requirements and being the point of communication for the clients throughout the entire assignment. I was often given design freedom and actively participated in client meetings. Due to the small size of the firm I was expected to regularly communicate with clients, contractors and planning officers. The projects varied in size from small house extensions and refurbishments to larger, high end, new PassivHaus projects. I was also asked to represent ‘Trunk Gresford PassivHaus’ at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show in Birmingham in March 2016.

My experience involved working in both the design and interior departments, requiring research of specialist products and the use of various computer programmes. Projects included the Marlborough College in Malaysia and the British Embassy in Jakarta.
