Louisa's challenge is to ensure a smooth running office which contains a very diverse set of individuals and cultures. I have found her to be nothing but helpful, resourceful, efficient and well organised. Her attention to detail particularly shows in the company events she has organised which have been terrific and uniquely themed. She's really knowledgeable about all things related to the office / staff needs and never ceases to amaze me with her maturity and level headedness. Clearly very capable and intelligent. Red Hat is lucky to have her. A super colleague and a lovely person.

I worked with Louisa at both Miller Construction (UK) and laterly at Construction Dynamics,(Qatar). Lou is committed to her work and very efficient in what she does, she's excellent at working to dead lines and produces quality work. You only ask once & it is done, Lou's communication skills are excellent. Val Byrne

TWCD is a Construction Management company in the Middle East based in Qatar with 400 employees. My role in Qatar was varied and challenging; a large aspect of my role was to create a fluid working office, by implementing procedures and re-training staff to make these systems work. The company had a low level of documented procedures Developing and implementing new administrative systems, such as record management;Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment;Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs;Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, including training and induction;Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets, worksheets and presentations Managing filing systems;Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff;Delegating work to staff and managing their workload and output;Promoting staff development and training;Involvement in management discussions on the organisation's policies and strategic development;I supported to senior management, making sure that all work generated by them was completed on time and to the correct standard. For the last year of my time at TWCD I took over the role of HR Manager, handling all workforce related matters, ensuring all records were correctly kept and liaising with staff who needed emergency leave, also ensuring all flights were booked on time and the best available fairs we obtained.

While working at Studio Stone my official role was office administrator but as with most SME's the role comprised of many different activities other than pure office administration. I was the first point of contact for customer and business partner engagements and acted as liaison between all parties before, during and after projects were completed. Another aspect of the administration was to insure projects were delivered on time, on budget and to specification both from the customer's point of view and the companies. I also delivered in-depth work flow procedures to either create or ensure smooth accounts, project and office management as well as keeping detailed customer records to ensure accurate management of customer and partner relationships were maintained. On the sales side I ran the made sure the customer's needs were always met.

While working here at Personnel Selection I performed candidate registration and validation along with maintaining their records in our CRM. This role allowed me to nurture my customer relations skills on the phone and in person with end customers and prospective candidates helping me to build strong business relationships.
