The inaugural session of the European Students' Assembly has brought together on 3 and 4 March 2022 in Strasburg more than 275 students from 38 European university alliances in 28 European countries. These students came from 140 different universities. The selected students have addressed some of the most decisive challenges facing the European Union today. Meeting in commissions, they produced concrete recommendations on issues as complex as democracy, cybersecurity, sustainability, or migration. The report resulting from these recommendations will be published on the Future of Europe Conference website and sent to European policy makers. Focusing on students, this event is the culmination of several months of work involving the student community of European university alliances, with the participation of experts and members of the European Parliament. I would particularly like to thank Constance Chevallier-Govers for giving me the chance to be in the organisation team of this project ! And also my fellow students with whom we had important work sessions to laying the foundation for the first ever European University Alliance Student Network. It was breathtaking! As I was the coordinator of the panel designing policy recommendations on how to make our Higher Education digitalised, future proof and inclusive for the future of Europe. I would also like to give a special thanks to my panel members for the debates and collaborations in this project. The common document with the 100 recommendations is coming real soon! We are one, we are Unite!, we are Europe 🇪🇺 Show less
