I have served under Louis and beside him. Lou is a people person with an entrepreneurial understanding yet an eye towards serving others. I have seen Lou address a room full of high network investors as well as walk a tech team through development to deployment. Lou has the "know how" to make things happen and yet is willing to put in the work. When it comes to high-level business, Lou is one of my close circle of friends I call upon.

In charge of developing the software and hardware of a revolutionary device allowing two people to exchange contact information with the click of a button. Before the iphone and before the rise of Facebook I had the honor of developing a technology that allowed two people to connect without exchanging permanent information in the real world. It was concept and reality that could not be done in 2006. We described the technology as being able to hand a person your business card that could be taken back without a trace of your information. It's something like virtual phone numbers we have today. The MingleStick was huge success in the events industry allowing attendees to click and connect with exhibitors, attendees, products, educational event registration and so much more. It was the next greatest wearable technology like the "Walkman", "iPod", and "Palm Pilot" that was overshadowed by the smartphone industry. Show less

Price is Right Auto Sales - Independent car dealership located in the heart of Falls Church City that provided in-house financing for the secondary market. I served on the local chapter of VIADA, (Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association) for seven years. I left the automotive industry in 2006 for my first love of computing and joined a revolutionary startup company called Mingle360. In 1990 my fiancé and I opened our own Meineke Franchise and over the next fifteen years we owned and sold six franchises from Virginia to Maryland and Florida. Meineke was an extremely lucrative franchise before the end of its era came when the auto industry introduced stainless steel exhaust systems. In 1992 Ryder truck rental was added to our automotive franchise operation. We expanded our original operation to our fleet of franchises. As our repair facility grew, so did our need for space and a business decision was made to terminate our contract with Ryder Truck Rental. Computer Sciences Corp., is an information technology contractor based in Falls Church. I was in charge of developing the bid acquisition systems for government contracts. It was extremely difficult to leave CSC, because of the friends and pursuit of highest quality of software development. Inventor of Double-HI Resolution Graphics for the Apple IIe computer. Creator and originator of the First graphics operating system to utilize 16 colors on the Apple IIe computer. Byte magazine featured its release and hailed the new Graphics OS nothing short of amazing. Several additional products were released, including a Joystick, Koala Pad, and a drawing package, before the company was sold in 1987. My 1983 application for the trademark name "DoubleStuff" resulted in Nabisco's "DoubleStuf" Oreo cookie to settle on using one "F" in their brand name "DOUBLESTUF." Show less
