UNIT DEPLOYMENT MANAGER HOLLOMAN AFB, NM 2010-2012 • Supported JTF Katrina recon; ops checked 35 Secondary Distribution Centers/4 Remote Area Lighting System/1 Primary Distribution Center – 100% in < 36 hrs for humanitarian relief efforts ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS JOURNEYMAN, HOLLOMAN AFB, NM 2009 – 2013 • Repaired five electrical panels and manufactured 20 secondary power cables for JTF-6 saving over $26K in contract cost; ensured 100% mission capability of equipment. • Identified hazards and switched primary cables on 4 SDC’s removing dangerous backfeed operation, eliminated life threatening hazards for electrical personnel and replacement costs of over $188,000. • Revamped electric shops journeyman upgrade training; instituted new training plans and certification tests resulting in a 100% pass rate for electrical apprentices. • Accepted/inspected 108 60kW distribution panels; certified over $721,000 in assets; readied 27 deployable sets. DEPLOYMENT SHARANA FOB, AFGHANISTAN APR 2010 – AUG 2010 • Provided electrical technical assistance for a 3300 person camp in support of the expanding NATO operation in AOR/OEF. Provided grounding requirements, electrical layouts and trained KBR electricians on elbow fabrication. • Inspected 5 electrical branch circuits vital to UAV mission; enabled $25M asset 24/7 operation w/ backup power. ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS APPRENTICE, SHEPPARD AFB, TX 2006 – 2009 • Hand-picked to perform duties as CE Instructor during 2006 & 2007 USAF Academy Global Engagement program. Provided operational instructions on BEAR assets and coordinated layout of distribution lines in contingency operations for 1400 USAFA, ROTC and United Kingdom Academy cadets.
