Front-end Web Developer

As Front-end web developer, I was responsible for the design and development of front-end web templates; from wireframing and information architecture to a fully developed and tested end product. Working to briefs set by Marketing team, I relied heavily on tools such as Figma and the Adobe CC suite to communicate my designs with key stakeholders, before making them a reality using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. My time in this role was split 50/50 between design (UX and web) and development, with my skills development focused most heavily on Usable Design and the Vue.js framework.Key ProjectsWhilst in this role I worked on a redesign project to improve the user experience of the main Students’ Union website. Lead Web Designer

As Lead Web Designer at Elbowspace I am working on developing a design system to unify the UI of Atlas - a business and content management system aimed at Student Unions. Alongside developing our design principles, I am working on developing my skillset through learning Laravel Dusk to aid in the Documentation and automated testing process. Previous projects include the product’s CMS design, and design of the front end website offered with the product. Key projects A recent project delivered to two Student Unions was a Virtual Freshers Fair platform, for which I provided the design and front end development, alongside helping develop the general concept. The software had a great turnout with the Unions, and we saw both an increase in engagement with their members and large volumes of visitors being handled within short periods of time.
