My main focus was data driven reporting and storytelling for web and print, combining writing with interacitve visualizations, multimedia and social media interaction. Three years in a row we were nominated for the digital award at Fackförbundspressens dag, and we were awarded the price two of those times. Data journalist at SVT Pejl

Content is king, and massive amounts of data is the kingdom. As data journalist, my focus is on the stories in the data, the people and the landscape of the kingdom, the patterns you see and the anomalies that turn up as you dig into it. In my work I get to be hands-on in most steps of the data journalistic process. Gathering data – from databases, crowdsourcing etc – cleaning it, analyzing it, doing interviews, writing stories, visualizing the data in a way that it becomes more accessible and asking our readers/viewers for their input. Often we do follow up stories based on input from and conversations with our online visitors. For instance, I've developed javascript solutions to do complex geographical mapping, as a way to let visitors explore data and find what is relevant for them where they live. For different projects we at SVT Pejl work together with different teams and reporters within SVT. This makes the job very rewarding as there are a lot of extremely competent people covering different fields of news within the organization. Show less

Citizen journalism and citizen media was my main focus, trying to make Sweden's largest news site the most reader/user oriented. I manage Aftonbladet.se's blogs, forums and work as editor for our "Reader daily" Läsarbladet. Also I managed our blog portal Bloggportalen.se. Aftonbladet.se has undergone an amazing development since I started, and I have had various positions during this process. Web editor for various departments, project manager for wap and handhelds, web developer, flash graphics journalist are among those.
