As a member of the resettlement team, I assisted in ensuring newly arrived refugees accessed govt. agencies within 90 days, such as Social Security, Jobs, and Family Services, & Medicaid/Medicare, and that they had everything they needed to begin their new life. Once the Executive Order limiting the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program was signed, this office had to close.
