      City & Guilds- the global leader in skills development & apprenticeship schemes with 2 million learners working on diverse qualifications every year. Managing City & Guilds sponsorship of the UKs largest annual skills and careers event, The Skills Show, Birmingham NEC. This included events, digital, social media, PR and stakeholder engagement. After successfully delivering this project, exceeding targets and expectations, I was then asked to project manage overall internal and external communications for the launch of their new administration portal, Walled Garden. Responsibilities: - Project managed, implemented and delivered #OpenDoors campaign, which included events, PR, digital and marketing streams - Managed sponsorship relationship with The Skills Show and partners engaged in the campaign - Managed all suppliers - Project managed internal and external communications strategy as well as customers move across to the new Walled Garden - Managed production of digital content and resources for Walled Garden Achievements: - Managed #OpenDoors campaign, which explored career options open to young people. This reached a potential audience of 13,800,000 - Managed a research project, which surveyed 3,000 parents’ views on vocational education - Worked with MumsNet bloggers and YouTubers to get a discussion going around skills training. This reached a potential audience of 9,916,124 - Engaged employers, such as Google and River Cottage to take part in a careers clinic which offered 500 young people the opportunity to discuss career opportunities - Delivered series of events for students, parents and sponsors - Managed a 144m2 exhibition stand at The Skills Show, from concept through to delivery - Successfully project managed transition of 13,000 customers (across four business units) over to the new Walled Garden Show less

      The National Apprenticeship Service, part of the Skills Funding Agency, is a government agency that coordinates apprenticeships in England, enabling young people to enter the skilled trades. I managed the organisation’s national event programme from initial concept to completion. Events included, receptions, award ceremonies, networking events, conferences, international stakeholder hospitality programmes and exhibitions. These events played a key role key to raising awareness and promoting the organisation's work and ethos. - Delivery of an annual 4 stage event – exhibition / drinks / dinner / awards ceremony for up to 1000 delegates - Working with Number 10, Downing Street and Cabinet Office to design and deliver a series of event celebrating National Apprenticeship week in March 2014 - Implemented measures to increase audience attendance/reach at events; this increased event attendance on average by 25% per event - Delivery of the National Apprenticeship Awards ceremony attended by 950 guests, hosted by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Skills - Management from concept to completion, as well as onsite execution, of six events taking place across three days, with delegate numbers ranging from 200 to1000 per event, utilising the same venue - Working with Buckingham Palace to deliver four separate receptions at the Palace hosted by HRH Duke of York Show less
