• Independently reviews TPA analysis, investigation and evaluation of the loss to determine coverage and claim disposition. Reviews TPA's claim file and extends authority, when justifiable, for reserving, settling and paying claims over the TPA's authority level. • Conducts remote as well as on site audits and prepares high quality reports to Underwriting and Claims management. Communicates all areas where improvement is needed to Company management as well as TPA management. • Prepares comprehensive large loss reports as required. Identifies and communicates all important issues to management and underwriting. • Tracks and provides analysis and direction on litigated claims. Attends trials and mediations and utilizes superior negotiating skills to achieve good economic results on claims. • May provide claims marketing services by participating in meetings with brokers, risk managers and reinsurers.
