I had the pleasure of working with Lorna during my time at Alzo International. There are very few people who can truly marry both art and science into cosmetic and personal care formulation. Lorna is one of those very rare people. First Lorna has a grasp on the chemistry of cosmetic raw materials including structure/function relationships that is well beyond her years. It really comes somewhat natural for her. Lorna can break down a complex formula into its simplest parts to both enhance benefits or solve a formulation issue, and somehow make even the most complex problem seem simple. But it doesn't stop there. Lorna has also mastered the creative/artistic side of formulation and deliver truly novel formulas that excite the senses. Lorna understands consumer trends and has always been a step ahead when creating new concepts. I have learned quite a bit by working with Lorna and I consider myself lucky for the time we spent on our collaboration projects. I highly recommend Lorna not for all her great professional qualities that I described above but really for her greatest asset - that she is a wonderful person who makes a lasting impression on all those around her.
