There are two main areas to my role with Front Line Defenders: • Database & Data Analysis• GDPR & Data ProtectionDatabase & Data Analysis Responsibilities include:I am responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the Database. I ensure database integrity in terms of architecture, security, efficiency, functionality and reporting outputs.Acting as the data focal point for FLD, internally and externally.Externally: Exploring different opportunities to collaborate with other organisationInternally: Supporting different teams and Working groups across the organisation to develop the database to best support their work, database Inductions & Trainings, database Query Optimization.Acting as FLD’s Focal Point on the ALLIED Data Working Group. Skills used and developed included working as part of a team, working on own initiative, IT skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills and customer service skills. As a fluent Irish speaker I worked on the Irish Language Action Plan. Assisting with the collating of data around broadcasting through Irish as well as attending meetings with different stakeholders.
