• Site maps, identifying soil structure, location, ordnance survey reference, how many replicates a trial is, how big and what crop is present.• PA6 and PA1 training to qualify me to be able to go out into a field to go spraying. Following appropriate health and safety training and walking speeds. Where calibration of sprayer was carried out regularly.• Office jobs included, COSHH assessments, working out averages, photo copying and putting harvest data into the system.• Outside jobs included, identifying weeds, disease, growth stages and green leaf area. Taking measurements of crops at different growth stages, where consistent monitoring was carried out. Other jobs included maintenance of combine, assist in the combing with sampling grain, take samples of black grass, rye grass seeds and soil type, rouging black grass sites, marking out trials, assisting with assessments, use of spray equipment on trials which needed glysophate and collect photos of each site at different stages. Identifying leaf green areas. The use of the combine for sampling in summer months.
