As Brand Manager of PMP, I supported the business in delivering a strategic market presence through implementation of marketing strategies, strong communication and stakeholder engagement.Reporting into the Managing Director, and being sat on the senior management team, I developed, implemented and executed marketing initiatives and activities, including, but not limited to; print, web, social media, events, market analysis/reporting, literature creation (design and copywriting), advertising, bid/tender writing, and CSR. I was responsible for delivering effective and engaging campaigns to win, grow and nurture client and candidate relationships, working with, and managing, a team of one marketing manager, one marketing executive, and two apprentices, to execute communication strategies and expert sales campaigns. With a hands-on attitude, my analytical skills, business ingenuity and ability to multitask led to improved brand advocacy and industry recognition. In June 2019 PMP was honoured to be recognised as Best Large Recruitment Business at the Global Recruiter Awards, then a few months later my team won Back-Office Support Team of the Year at the Recruiter Awards. Another career highlight was conceptualising and leading an award-winning campaign for modern slavery charity Unseen. Be Seen, Be Heard, raised awareness of modern slavery in high volume recruitment and supply chains. PRWeek, Campaign and Third Sector recognised the success of Be Seen, Be Heard and awarded PMP with the Best Equality & Inclusion Cause Campaign Award in July 2019.

My main responsibility was to develop the company’s brand awareness through digital marketing, creating briefs and artwork for websites, apps, social media pages and marketing campaigns. I analysed and considered new and innovative ways of marketing UK Greetings’ many brands and characters, to drive awareness and engagement. The biggest success story was Boofle, a brand, which is now demonstrating phenomenal sales and popularity. I also developed product placement campaigns, liaised with production companies, blog writers and talent agencies, wrote copy for industry magazines, researched new areas of communication and monitored market trends.
