I had the pleasure of working with Loring for over 4 years at LeapFrog SchoolHouse. In her roles are Director of Creative Services and Director of Brand Development Loring consistently demonstrated innovation, creativity, exceptional design skills, and superior leadership. Loring has a unique mix of abilities. She is a strategic thinker as well as talented designer with an eye for detail. Her ability to think critically about the needs and values of our customers and find unique ways to apply the overall marketing strategy gave us a competitive advantage through print and online marketing collateral. Loring’s designs and concepts translated to remarkable visual extensions of the LeapFrog SchoolHouse brand. Brand development is a particular strength of Loring’s and she has an outstanding aptitude for bringing a young brand to maturity and changing an out-of-date brand to a modern and sustainable look without a drastic departure from core values. In addition, Loring is a venerable member of the marketing team. She partners well with both product and communication sides of marketing, collaborating yet pushing for and guiding toward excellence at all times.

If you want to position a product or brand for maximum impact, Loring is definitely someone you want in your corner. She combines a sophisticated sense of design with a well-grounded understanding of what motivates customers and an intuitive sense of how to connect with the customer. Loring has a great eye for talent, and her teams produce elegant, approachable designs that are practical to use and effective in the marketplace. Even working at a fast pace, under multiple deadlines, she takes time to reflect on every assignment, ensuring that her teams will generate compelling executions across the wide range of their work. Because of her top-drawer experience in packaging, web design, user interface, print materials, and all sorts of marketing collateral, Loring brings a strong sense of direction to her work. Her tenacity and insistence on quality would be welcome in any marketing organization.

At Bay Area Lyme, our mission is to make Lyme disease easy to diagnose and simple to cure. Our focus is on prevention and the development of better diagnostics and treatments. Lyme disease is one of the most common vector-borne infectious diseases in the world. It is found in 65 countries and throughout the United States, with ~500K new cases each year in the US alone. And yet, Lyme research is significantly underfunded relative to other comparable diseases. Our goal is to fill that void and accelerate the pace of new drug and diagnostic development in order to alleviate the suffering. 100% of donations are directed to Lyme disease research and prevention programs.
