An S&P 500 company headquartered in Dallas, Atmos Energy serves more than 3 million distribution customers in over 1,400 communities across eight states and manages proprietary pipeline and storage assets, including one of the largest intrastate natural gas pipeline systems in Texas. As the Regional Planning Analyst, I effectively create reports by utilizing various methods for data querying for analysis. To be effective in my field, I use business data to run a variety of analytics models that can help drive decision-making for financial, tactical and strategic purposes to ensure data accuracy. To boost and strengthen business communications, I maintain the company’s Gas Supply websites. As the key contact person, I successfully perform load studies, load forecasting and statistical analysis of gas usage. This involves an annual report of current methodologies, testing improved methods and using statistical analysis to compile robust results. I design and develop a Short-Term Forecast website for daily gas needs as well as alert procedures for extreme weather situations.
