I have seen first-hand Lori's passion for and commitment to the students of this district. As president of the Indian Prairie Special Needs PTA she has developed positive working relationships with the school board and administration as well as parents and teachers throughout the district. I know that Lori will make an excellent addition to our Board of Education. Lori and I met at a school board meeting several years ago and became fast friends with many shared interests and concerns in 204. We have also served together on the Indian Prairie Parents' Council since 2007. I worked with Lori on last spring's "Caravan to the Capitol." We were concerned that Governor Quinn was putting education funding on the chopping block ahead of any other budget cuts causing great upheaval in school districts throughout the state. We took two buses of parents and students to Springfield to meet with legislators there. Sherry Tatar IPSD parent
