Lori and I worked together in various capacities for the last 10 years. We first met while she was with ATTUS. While working with her, it became crystal clear that she was dramatically different than most compliance people. While having deep domain knowledge of a compliance expert, she was also very creative on solutions and options. This is rare! So rare that I'd refer to Lori as a unicorn. In building a startup in the compliance industry, Lori was a perfect fit and we recruited her to Continuity where her knowledge and creativity were all that I'd hoped for. If you're looking to actually solve problems around compliance, you'd be a fool to not consider Lori on a very short list of people. If, on the other hand, your business is looking for a compliance person without opinions and creative options, you should probably keep walking.

I was initially hired in an internal audit position. Through my efforts I developed an audit process from the ground up. This allowed me to assist senior management correct ineffective controls, deficiencies and fraud. I was then moved to the positions of SVP of operations where I identified additional deficiencies and made changes that had a significant impact on the institution’s bottom line.
