  I manager the Corporate Branch office and have worked closely with all corporate office departments. I have successfully opened a new branch office with innovative service concepts that continues to set the standard for all branches to follow. I have prepared my team to be the test site for all new products, computer services and equipment before any new process is introduced to other branches. Determine that current policies are followed and adhered to and that standards for internal control are maintained. Actively participate as part of the Management Team by providing input for improvement to overall policy and procedures. Prepare monthly statistics of activity within the retail delivery department. Assist in the creation and administration of the branch budget. Develop marketing plans to meet goals and objectives set forth by the bank. Participate in special events, community activities, promotions, and organizations to raise awareness of the bank within the community. Ensure employees are trained, coached and motivated to analyze and be sensitive to customer’s needs, and provide a high level of prompt and courteous service. Responsible to recruit and select qualified and competent staff to maintain high service levels. Maintain accurate and complete personnel records including, but not limited to, job descriptions, performance plans, attendance records, timely evaluations and corrective counseling in accordance with bank procedures. Leverage internal recognition and incentive programs to build a strong team. Ensure ongoing maintenance of branch building. Preform other duties as needed.

  I began at La Loma Federal Credit Union as a teller and quickly excelled into the Accounting Department where I spent 15 years. From there I was promoted to the Processing Supervisor position where I played a key role in their conversion from an online computer system to an in-house computer system. I was offered the position of Branch Manager of the Riverside office where I served until the financial condition of the credit union began to decline. I was responsible for all staff training, branch compliance, daily operations and branch growth. I volunteered at the local elementary, middle school and high school to teach financial literacy. I also volunteered at La Sierra University to teach college students the importance of credit management with an emphasis on credit bureau scores. I successfully taught age appropriate material and instructed student the importance of money management. I appreciate the 28 years I worked at La Loma Federal Credit Union and wish them well as they move forward in a difficult economy.
