Briefly fulfilled a role as technical training assistant in 2012. Tasks included maintaining and documenting faults and technical issues experienced at the workshops in the Middle-Eastern region and forwarding reports to Volvo HQ in Sweden. This was in parallel to my regular duties as a service technician. I trained and operated as a Volvo Personal Service Technician (PST) during the initial pilot program at Volvo Cars, Dubai: To help create a closer personal relationship with our customers, Volvo Personal Service Technicians are responsible for each stage of the customer workshop experience: from arranging service bookings and taking delivery of the customer’s car, to performing the service or repair, before finally preparing and clearly explaining the customer’s invoice.
