      Participated in the production chain of vegetable/fruit crops (harvesting, choice of product suitable for sale, fruit grading, packaging, labelling, conservation and technical aspects of the supply chains), mainly peaches and courgettes and a part concerning plums and apricots . I performed manual tasks of assistance and maintenance of the machines in the closed rooms of the company and of the cooperative to which the company belongs (machines for packaging courgette flowers, packaging by netting machine for punnets of 1 kg of fruit, preparation of adhesive labels to be applied on the product packaging with the appropriate machine, fulfillment of orders for large-scale distribution). The company is part of an agricultural cooperative (ORTO & CO. FRUTTA) in this way I was able to observe another key phase of the supply chain which concerns the passage of the product from the companies to the consumers. By participating in the production chain, I have acquired notions regarding soil preparation, sowing and choice of varieties - cultivars, propagation, fertilization, plant care, pest control, irrigation systems, rotations, harvesting and use of the product. At the headquarters of the cooperative I was also able to observe what concerns the administrative aspects (invoicing, product control, regulations, HACCP, relations with large-scale distribution, etc.), as well as the importance of the label, through which the consumer or large retailers can trace (thanks to the manufacturer code, lot, barcode, etc.) the entire supply chain up to the producer in the event of finding any anomalies in the product, in order to send back damaged or poor quality products .
