Lonwabo is superstar when it comes to understanding the media tech landscape! I first met him at an industry event and immediately become friends with him. He exuded confidence in himself and his business and I knew right then and there that he's up to something. I recommend him for any role, corporate partnership and every other opportunity that fast tracks his success.

Khayakazi Tapile

Gifted C.E.O who really understands how to make things work. Lonwabo is highly adaptable, encouraging, supportive and an effective leader. He's invested in youth employment and professional development by sharing stories of growth and hope in socio-economically driven societies. His mindfulness of the goals. dreams of the youth and the challenges they face is remarkable. His dedication to improve the education and unemployment rate through his initiatives is relentless. With such a mentor and guide, I believe anyone can shine in their career.

Matthew Alexander

Lonwabo's approach to a task is unusual at first, but there is a method to his out of the box thinking. He's a real asset and a valuable member of any team.

Writing Feature Reviews, Previews, Football Match Reports and liaising with Metropolitan and various media houses. I was recommended to Rylurx IT by a friend I went to Journalism School with. Here is where my sports writing skills were tested, we nailed it! We did match reviews, previews and interviews. Our aims was to grow the u19 Metropolitan Premier Cup, to boost the presence of Rylurx IT and develop a community of loyal readers. Our dream came true! At the MPC, it is where my Social Media status was practiced. After lecturers of social media, I knew I could apply my trait to meet the objectives of the tournament, hence, when I did a LIve Tweet about the game, millions of Twitter accounts were reached online. A success story indeed! I still keep in touch with Rylurx IT Show less

Our Residential team had a superb 2014/2015 football season. After sweeping away the Universities sports awards from all angles, I was named the captain of the season as our team won the Universities Easter Olympics, the Universities Football League and the September Mini-Spring Olympics. Great memories that boosted my sports and football writing skills later on. Our Residential team had a superb 2014/2015 football season. Part of my strategies is on the field. I played football for a very long time since I started walking. I've played for Football Clubs such as Old Mutual Football Academy, SaltRiver BlackPool, City Lads(Port Elizabeth) and City Brother FC (Port Elizabeth). Playing for Old Mutual Football Academy was a great experience, unfortunately, after my ankle injury I chose to focus on my books more. In High School, I took a break from soccer and joined the Cross Country team. Being the team captain I later received my honours blazer for excellent service on the field, road, gym, to my coaches and fellow teammates. I've gained a lot of experience in Athletics as an 800m, 1500m and 3000m runner. I played a lot of club cricket and high school cricket; having played for the 1st and 2nd team in a number of occasions. I've joined my high school's rugby team back in the days too, it's where I gained my team strength and how to handle pressure related circumstances. All in all, I've played 5 sports -Cross Country, Cricket, Soccer, Rugby and Athletics. Sport taught me a lot about creativity, handling pressure and stress, becoming a team player and various traits of how a gentleman's habit should be. Show less

Being a social media intern for Ajax Cape Town was fun and thoughtful. I enjoyed the space, I worked with one of the best teams in the South African - Premier Soccer League (PSL). They did very well in the 2014/15 season, which made my work very colourful and easy. Likes, reach and engagement was very well set, a high community market always had engaged with us. I could interview players, get to work hand-in-hand with the media manager at the time - Milo Boer. I attended pre and post match conferences. I wrote match previews and reviews. I'd live tweet during games and advertise before and after a game. I done editing and wrote numerous blogs about the club. Volunteering for Ajax Cape Town was a great experience, however, I needed more of a challenge to test my abilities for the competitive future of the digital media world. Show less
