  Offered the opportunity to participate in a six-week internship with an objective of learning the inner workings of the design studio. I was able to learn the inner workings of the design studio, attending design meetings as well as being in contact with suppliers. I visited Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, where I would request and pick up samples in time for upcoming projects. This allowed me to learn more about luxury design brands that offer design excellence in bespoke furniture, lighting and so on. My duties were to request trade prices from suppliers, assist on site, making sure things are progressing smoothly to the clients expectations. I further worked alongside Fiona Barratt’s furniture studio in the media and marketing area. With the use of Photoshop and Indesign , I developed catalogues, portfolio, lookbooks, sorting out in Situ images and preparing them for a new website launch. Lastly, I engaged in cleaning up plans and elevations using Autocad. In addition, electrical and lighting plans, placing sockets on elevations with the correct measurements, ready for an accurate instalment by construction workers.
