I created my personal blog as an outlet to share my main passions of food and travel. I create recipes and review brands and restaurants. I share my travel adventures, my monthly reads, fitness tips and whatever else dominates my lifestyle at the time. On average I gain around 10,000+ unique visitors and have had the opportunity to work with some great brands. I created my personal blog as an outlet to share my main passions of food and travel. My role within this company was to provide support to the Account Manager. Currently I’ve been helping with various international accounts, which span over many industries from fashion to food. A key role for me has been managing social media accounts for several clients and growing their audience. This includes managing the day-to-day social media accounts, keeping up with social trends and engaging within the community. The role has also allowed me to create great content for branded blogs and learn to understand the market. Pitching for new business ha enabled me to follow market trends. This role has also required me to create ad campaigns set to certain budgets; which has increased my research and strategic skills. I have learnt how to create distribution lists using large databases of UK magazines and newspapers, as well as store all press coverage appropriately. Other job roles include press releases, research and brainstorming creative ideas. Show less

      • May 2014 - Nov 2014

The campaign ran through eight months all together and across 16 different cities in the UK. Throughout the 8 months I took the role of staff booker. My main responsibilities were to ensure all staff places were filled, that all the staff were briefed and understood their roles and their responsibilities and that they had sufficient brand knowledge. On event weeks I would be organising more than 100 staff. It was essential that I was ‘on call’ as the campaign took place over the weekends, I had great involvement with the staff I eagerly took on this responsibility. Usually this involved dealing with any issues to do with venues and teams. This role gave me impeccable organisational skills. I had to be alert at all times, and it taught me to solve problems quickly, as well as gain a close rapport with staff. Show less

    • Artist Liaison
      • Jun 2014 - Jun 2014

Originally I had a standard festival role, but this transformed into Artist Liaison for 3 stages. The role involved making sure artists were picked up from the airport, arrived to the venue on time, taken to their stages, their riders were ready and waiting, and generally making sure they were happy. Amongst others I worked with artists such as Gorgon City, My Nu Leng, True Tiger, Benton, Doorly, Ben Pearce, Harriman, 2 Bears, Klose One and many more. The majority of my work as a brand warrior for Tribe was representing Coca Cola and Co. I travelled all over the UK for various Coke brands including Coke red, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Fanta and Sprite in different experiential activities, in various locations, nationwide such as football stadiums, concert venues, festivals and theme parks. For two years I was chosen for the core team for the coca cola Christmas campaign. This was a road show which involved travelling around the UK with the Christmas Truck sampling and using the ‘Click it’ to take professional photo’s in front of the truck. The role taught me how to behave and interact with consumers in a public facing role. I also learnt how to adapt to a lot of travelling and being away from home, with constantly changing environments. Show less

Working in the Samsung Galaxy Studio, which was a replica igloo located in the French Alps. This role involved demonstrating Samsung's new products the Note 3 and Gear in both French and English, as well as explaining Samsung's involvement with Sochi 2014, as their official partner. Also included were experiential activities engaging consumers with the igloo forming a connection. Once they experienced the studio, the customer was given the opportunity to rent equipment for 48 hours. This role taught me how to communicate with people from different backgrounds speaking many different languages. As I am bilingual I was able to break down language barriers. It also allowed me to adapt to new environments and step out of my comfort zone. Show less

Within this three-month internship, I took on many roles, including two months of administration based organisation. This contained a lot of PR work such as contacting newspapers, magazines and blogs about the Cloud9 Festival. I contacted bands so that I could promote and advertise the festival on social networking sites and through competitions. I also sought to gain sponsorship and free advertisement which was majorly important. As well as writing out contracts, invoices and other kinds of administrative paperwork. The festival attracted the likes of Ed Sheeran, The Futureheads, Scratch Perverts, The Sunshine Underground and more. Show less
