The creation of surveys, both for public voting and for the esteemed judges of the Destination Deluxe Awards, underscores my prowess in constructing structured and relevant questions to elicit valuable insights. Being entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring accurate and well-formatted information showcased my attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. Assisting a fellow intern in their initial tasks showcased my growth as a team player and nurtured my mentorship skills. Collaborating on emails announcing finalist status and participating in a zoom meeting with the CEO and my supervisor further broadened my communication abilities, fostering confidence in interacting with professionals at various levels.   Whilst working as a bank staff member at the nursery, I gained experience in child care whilst allowing my creative and imaginative ideas to entertain the children and create activities for them during playtime. Due to the high level of energy needed for this role, I learnt to be flexible and patient in order to be a good role model for the children, whilst also improving my communication skills to appear understanding and give encouragement. This job has also given me a new understanding of children’s literature and how it can impact a child’s perspective as books are often a child’s first experience of the real world, or encourages a child to use their imagination for the first time.
