  St Cloud Technical & Community College As the Associate Registrar for transfer students at the St Cloud Technical & Community College I work with students transferring schools for a wide variety of reasons. I also talk with many students ranging in age 17 to 72 that are looking to come back to school and earn or a degree or complete or upgrade a degree they began years ago. I also talk with many students ranging in age 17 to 72 that are looking to come back to school and earn or a degree or complete or upgrade a degree they began years ago. Credit for Prior Learning, like Military experience; CLEP testing; AP scores and DANTES have also become an important part of education and my job. I keep these things and the transfer of classes from other higher learning institutions across the country up to date in our Degree Audit data base. I am also very involved in maintaining the program coding for the various program so the students receive and accurate representation of what is needed to complete their degree. I oversee the work study staff in our office and fill in for the Registrar as necessary. Show less

  I began as a Work Study while in the Computer Programing major at SCTCC. Loved it! Worked as a Registration Assistant and later a Transfer Specialist. I work with a diverse group of people including students ranging in age from 17 to 70, parents, faculty, staff from SCTCC and many other higher learning institutions. I am very involved with the programming of our Degree Audit Data that provides students an accurate and immediate picture of what is required to complete their degree.
