Bio
Seth Sakamoto
I had the privilege of watching Logan grow from a software engineer to senior software engineer to manager in the span of a year, and it was impressive. As an engineer, he's considerate and mindful of business and customer context, is a strong cross-functional partner, and leverages the knowledge of his peers effectively. He's worked on our most difficult bugs and scaling challenges in different parts of our stack, from infrastructure to data storage & message queuing to our services to our UI. He's architected us away from a buggy monolith in our most critical feature area, to an elegantly designed, built, and operated microservice. From the time we started working together Logan showed incredible leadership. He drove our culture and feedback loops, delivered tooling that helped everyone be more productive and quality-oriented, jumped into the most ambiguous tasks and projects, and brought a character and levity to the engineering team. He works tirelessly, is highly accountable, seeks feedback and input, and is extremely empathetic, thoughtful, and communicative. He's a natural leader and manager. I'm hoping to work with Logan again!
