As a member of Yellowstone National Park Food and Beverage Support office, the Parkwide Beverage Manager and myself over saw the opening and training of all beverage operations and beverage staff in the park, including 8 guest bars, 5 employee pubs, and 2 barista carts, with around 85 staff peak season. Pre-season organzing all training materials, ordering necessary items for opening each outlet prior to our arrrival on location. We would start spending a week at each hotel within in the park, which involved cleaning, organizing bar, training staff, and supervising during the first 2 days of operation for each outlet. After all operations were open, I would travel across the park, to help onsight FB Managers with the operations of their beverage outlets. This would include, upholding standards and policies; training mid season staff; assisting and training bar leads on inventory; and helping location staff with banquets. At the end of season making sure all outlets were properly cleaned, inventoried, and items transfered to still open operations.
