In our view, there is no company whose business model will not be profoundly affected by the transition towards a net-zero economy. As the transition accelerates, organisations with a well-articulated strategy, and a clear plan to address the transition to net-zero, will distinguish themselves with their stakeholders – customers, policymakers, employees, and shareholders – by inspiring confidence they can navigate the required transformation path.Airbridge focuses on a successful transition and beyond – one that is equitable and protects current and future livelihoods from the air we breathe to the security of the food we need. It can only be achieved with leadership, coordination, and support at every level to maximise prosperity. Many vulnerable communities and developing nations, already the most exposed, can least afford the economic shocks of a poorly implemented transition.Whilst the transition will inevitably be complex and difficult, we must build a new economy that benefits all. Of course, organisations need to understand how they can prepare and begin the transition to net zero. Our Vision is to take leadership and initiate immediate action to reduce CO2 abatement – globally:“Airbridge is an innovative, emerging leader in Carbon Capture Utilisation technology (CCU). With our proprietary technology we have unlocked the value of CO2 and begun the path to utilisation of CO2 on a global scale”Our Purpose is underpinned by the” circular carbon economy”, demonstrating the value of carbon capture and commercial utilisation, with aligned ESG commitments and values. That path includes the development of mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with organisations and people that share our global vision.

The Shire of Roebourne comprises six towns and has an annual budget of over $150 million and nearly 300 employees. My role as President was to lead the Council which involved managing the Shire’s political and media interactions. As one of the fastest growing local government areas in the country a key focus was to redefine the organisation to key stakeholders including the community, government and industry, as well as positioning the Shire for the enormous growth ahead. That involved defining and driving the Karratha - City of the North Plan and building relationships with State and Federal Government and industry. It also involved working closely with the CEO to ensure the organisation had the capability to deliver the vision. The projects developed during that time have now been delivered and are being enjoyed by the community.
