  Professional leadership and management of the historic downtown commercial district including, but not limited to, development, redevelopment, advertising, parking, safety, and general improvements. Represented a 12 member board of directors and downtown business owners to the public. Educated the public on the importance of a healthy downtown district by speaking to local clubs, organizations, and civic groups. Successfully increased grant funding for advertising downtown Beaufort to an state and national audience. Active cooperation with the City of Beaufort and Beaufort County governments, the Beaufort Chamber of Commerce, as well as many other entities. Successfully managed five major and numerous minor downtown events.
