• Worked as a Research Intern on the topic of “Impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the livelihoods of agricultural farmers of Dhamtari district, Chhattisgarh.”, and analyzed the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on agriculture inputs, harvesting and marketing, along with this also tried to know the awareness of the farmers about the three Farm Laws passed in 2020. • Performed descriptive and correlational study by analyzing the primary and secondary data. • Found that farmers didn’t face much difficulty in availing agriculture inputs, however faced the shortage of labour and didn’t get the fair price for their produce which impacted their profitability. • The awareness of farmers about the three Farm Laws is very weak. • Analyzed the working conditions and benefits given to the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) of Chhattisgarh state. • Analyzed the registered construction workers in the state and its variation across the districts and alos analyzed the secondary data on the beneficiaries of the various government schemes for the informal workers. • Interviewed construction workers, contractors and Deputy Labour Commissioner of CG Mr. Alex Paul Menon (IAS). • Visited the Pratham Arora Centre for Education, Kurud, a skill development centre under NSDC and discussed with them about the training programs, facilities and placements.
