To support the Director and other faculty of the Neuroscience Center of Excellence (NCE) in both publishing and funding, I conduct the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage research papers, articles, patents, and grant proposals to foundation and corporate sources. With the vision of the Director in mind, I make quick editorial decisions with precision, communicating them in a clear and constructive manner. I also provide guidelines to authors preparing to submit manuscripts and reformat in a multitude of styles. Many of the grants I have worked on with NCE faculty have been successfully funded. The same is true for manuscript acceptance. I also support the NCE faculty and staff by performing a number of administrative tasks on a day-to-day basis, sometimes working independently and other times working one-on-one with the Director or with faculty.
