Committed 900 volunteer hours to Keys to Hope Resource Center for those who are homeless or at risk of losing housing. Implemented new Volunteer Growth Program while serving as the Volunteer Coordinator. Committed 120 hours to the Westville Correctional Facility to complete a field work practicum course. Processed identification cards and birth certificates for inmates in a re-entry classroom. Facilitated a class on vocational rehabilitation which distributed and interpreted results of the John Holland Code Exam, a test which determines career affinities based on personality traits. Participated in the Gary Re-Entry Coalition which engaged community members and organizations in order to build and maintain partnerships with the correctional facility.
