Bio
Erik Kneller
I worked with Lizette on a global exploration team focused on finding new hydrocarbon opportunities. Lizette’s deep knowledge of stratigraphy and ability to quickly learn how to apply new interpretation tools and geologic concepts had an immediate impact. Through her hard work and collaborative approach, Lizette led the team toward identifying the highest quality leads produced during the project. Lizette’s effective communication skills also played a major role in the the team’s success through leading technical presentations to decision makers and helping team members refine presentations. In addition to contributing an impressive technical skillset, Lizette is a pleasure to work with and brings a positive energy that helps build team cohesion and drives the team toward reaching objectives.

I was one of Lizette’s mentors during her internships with ExxonMobil in 2008-2009 and after she joined the company full-time from 2011 until my retirement in 2016. What impressed me the most about Lizette when she was a new hire at ExxonMobil was her passion for micropaleontology and stratigraphy and her willingness to listen and learn from her mentors. She easily integrated into our team of specialists and started contributing right away. Her ability to learn new skills and adapt to new responsibilities is evident by her success at becoming a carbonate stratigrapher in recent years. Lizette is an excellent communicator whether she is interacting with her team members, making formal presentations or writing technical reports detailing the results of her studies. She is fluent in Spanish and English, which is a significant asset in working internationally. Based on the many skills Lizette has acquired and developed during her 10 years at ExxonMobil, I am confident that she would be a great fit for any Institution/Company.
