Supporting In The Image programs such as The Free Store, Pop Up Shops and S.H.O.E.S., by showing up and doing what’s needed to "deliver the best shopping experience that money does not have to buy". Have worked to identify improvements to an already very well organized operation. Scheduling & Procurement
-
Aug 1986 - Feb 1996
In my first 10 years I gained valuable Supply Chain experience as an Expediting contact to Ford Motor, a Supplier Scheduler for the value added Air Horn processes at outside supplier locations, and as a Purchasing Manager responsible for 3 direct reports. Nelson Metal Products was a parent company to Hadley Products. Nelson Metal was a 1st tier supplier of aluminum and zinc casting parts to Ford and General Motors. Hadley purchased air horn castings from Nelson, and sold the assembled air horns to the Truck market. Nelson was bought out by French, leading to plant shut down after my departure.
