I have watched Liza’s career for years and have always been impressed by the tools and skills that she possesses as well as her ability to deploy those tools and skills in various areas of design. From working directly with artisans in their home countries around the world, to creating and running education programs, to her own work in the studio, Liza is a force for good with everyone in her realm. Liza and I worked together when she was refining some financial projections and strategy for products she was developing. She not only shared beautiful designs, a great vision of what they could do, but also an understanding of the importance of collaboration in the process of reaching beyond to construct something in the future.

Our Architecture and Design Education (ADE) program is committed to exponentially expanding access to design education for K-12 students in Philadelphia. Diversity in the design and construction industry is woefully inadequate. One of our primary goals is to make more BIPOC and Latinx students aware of the career opportunities in design.
