As Senior Manager, my role sits at the heart of the organisation, ensuring VCKC's mission and objectives are achieved, and all operational systems are implemented, maintained and developed. This includes oversight of VCKC’s monitoring and reporting, policies and process reviews, and the development and management of HR systems and procedures. I am Designated Safeguarding Officer, and responsible for GDPR compliance, ensuring VCKC complies with quality assurance frameworks, and for transitioning VCKC to a new digital platform and MEL system. I am also the Head of the Volunteering Core team and have overall responsibility for the volunteer brokerage service. I manage the Volunteering Officer and team of Volunteers. I also manage the Communications Officer, Office Systems Coordinator, Digital Project Officer and three staff responsible for Outreach. I have overall responsible for events delivery and manage a Wellbeing Officer and the Inside-Out Coordinator and have oversight of his specialist ex-offending project. I also lead on volunteer sector development work (e.g. VIO training and best practice development). I deputise for the CEO and deal with complaints and concerns internally and externally.
