Senior Consultant

Aug 2014 - Dec 2020
Senior Recruitment Consultant on the industrial desk at G-Force Logistics. I managed all warehouse, hospitality, cleaning, commercial and driving contracts up to HGV1. My daily duties included resourcing for suitable candidates using all job boards available to us and our own internal CV database. I contacted candidates and booked registrations, confirming DVLA checks and eligibility to work in the UK. I put forward candidates to clients highlighting their suitability for the required role, agreeing charge rates and contracts and placing the candidate into work. My role also required me to have constant contact with my clients be it over the phone, via emails or by visiting clients on site, along with also handling all out of hours calls and staff requirements on a monthly roster. I was required to send weekly revenue forecasts to my Operations Manager of the company and set myself weekly targets and documented how I was going to achieve them. As part of my role as a Senior Consultant I was responsible for completing weekly KPI’s for my Operations Manager, training all new staff members and being the first point of contact for clients in my Operation Manager’s absence. As well as my daily duties, I also handled all my own administration include referencing, payroll queries and booking holiday for candidates. For some of my clients I was required to carry out on site inductions and assess the candidate’s suitability within the work environment presented to them. This was a very fast paced environment and requirements changed by the minute. From doing this role I learned how to adapt quickly and prioritise my workload.

Assistant Manager

Apr 2014 - Aug 2014
I took this job after relocating back from Brighton to Oxfordshire. I was regularly left to manage the establishment on my own. Once a week I would carry out line checks on all my WET stock and put all the information onto a database. I was left to run the pub and manage the staff, organise breaks, delegate staff and ensure all customers were being looked after properly. I was also in charge of doing all end of night kitchen checks, all end of day banking and cashing up tills, ensuring the pub was clean and locked up and setting alarms. I was left most days to input staff hours onto an online payroll system, from a written signing in sheet and process orders and invoices.
