I had the pleasure of working with Lissa for almost 5 years when I held the role of Sr. VP Sales and Marketing for the J R Simplot Food Group. The majority of those years Lissa was a direct report and an integral team contributor to our sales and marketing strategy development. A good portion of our priorities during that time focused on developing and executing value-added products and programs to increase margins and market leadership. We advanced these strategies as a team to insure alignment and improved execution. As Manager of Corporate Training and Customer development Lissa was integral to both strategy development and execution as these new strategies required a significant change in sales, marketing and business- focus and execution. Lissa was responsible for program development, training and some related marketing. Her leadership and team collaboration skills helped drive our sales, marketing and customer service teams to change its culture leading to a significant increase in Simplot’s direct valued connection to both distributors and operator customers and several years mix and profit improvement. Lissa's skill set, leadership and team building would be valued in many industries where companies are either changing to or focused on, creating and implementing value-added strategies

During the time I worked with Lissa, she positively impacted our organization and assisted me in the accomplishment of executing our overall strategic goals. Lissa developed and implemented a training and development program that not only focused on the product itself, but created a teaching environment that was both informative and entertaining. Her efforts played a critical role in knowledge transfer to employees, salespeople (both internal and external contractors) and customers. Her ability to communicate effectively to all levels of an organization make Lissa a great choice for any training and development environment. She is highly organized, enjoyable to work with, always has a positive attitude, a great communicator, effective at managing direct & indirect reports, and makes a positive impact on those with whom she interacts. I highly recommend her and would work with her again at any time.
