Founded in 1990, Vision Films started out as a production company that created a long running television series for the Discovery Channel entitled "Movie Magic". In order to raise financing for the series, Lise pre-sold many international territories notably Canal Plus in France, Village Roadshow in Australia and Gaga in Japan. In 1997, Vision Films opened its doors as a worldwide Sales Agency representing a hundreds of prestigious Documentaries, TV Movies and Feature Films. In 2004, Lise opened a sister company Vision Music that handled hundreds of successful biographies of musical artists such as 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and John Lennon, and many music related feature films such as the Germs biopic "What We Do Is Secret", which she is credited as Executive Producer, having financed the film through international pre-sales. In 2010, Lise sold Vision Music side of her business, but still manages the domestic rights to many of the titles. Today, Vision Films, Inc. represents over 1000 titles, including a huge Feature Film, Documentary and Music library. For Vision Films' company profile, please visit our website www.visionfilms.net. One of my most memorable experiences at Unapix was when I created the American version of a well known French Television series that was a hit primetime series on TF1 entitled "Ushuaia". I brought American writers to Paris to work with the French producers and then sold the English version around the world to broadcasters including NBC in the USA. The series featured Nicolas Hulot, an ecological advocate and adventurer that traveled the globe swimming with whale sharks, hang-gliding with vultures, para-gliding over the white plains of Iceland, and then relaxing in a hidden hot spring at the end of one of his typical days filled with fabulous journeys.
