-In 2016-17, I assisted Olympia-based felt artist, Janice Arnold, with research on wool Felt for an upcoming exhibition of her work and practice at San Francisco's Museum of Craft and Design. -In 2018, Janice and I travelled to Baku, Azerbaijan, for the 3rd International Symposium of Common Language of the Turkic World with that year's theme being various ancient and modern wool Felt traditions. -During that same year, we travelled to St. Petersburg, Russia, where we were able to visit the museum collections of the area and gather more research - most notably visiting the Pazyryk Felts in the Hermitage collection. -I continue to learn about Felt and update our personal database of Felt knowledge.
