I have the pleasure of helping to guide new trainees through the 13 modules of the program, and continue to mentor them for their first year with Gifted Travel Network. We believe that travel professionals need to be inspired and educated in both the day-to-day basics of booking travel and the dynamics of running a thriving business, so the curriculum is loaded with lots of important training on business structure, knowing your numbers and establishing marketing foundations so that our graduates are prepared for the challenges of entrepreneurship. (not common in any other training programs in the industry today) I also participate in monthly Executive Marketing Committee meetings to brainstorm, plan and implement ongoing marketing strategies for the Gifted Travel Network Host Agency.

Was responsible for overseeing 4 corporate agents and fulfilling contracts between AmEx and major business travel clients to ensure that their travelers were able to fulfill their duties in a cost-efficient, yet most comfortable manner.   Worked with the Hawaii Marketing team (in Atlanta and Honolulu) to negotiate contracts, inspect providers, maintain quality and monitor usage for the American Express Hawaii Vacation product. We also were responsible for providing content for the publication of the Hawaii Vacation brochure, which was distributed to both Travel Agents and direct clients. I was also the "go to" person for contest winners (Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, etc) to fulfill their prizes and schedule their travel. Maximized efficiency of the wholesale air blocks for the Hawaii product, monitoring usage, adhering to airline contracts and reducing unsold seats.
