Led IU Health's (IUH) community outreach and engagement team and efforts for the Indianapolis area. Included cultivation/relationship management of key community partnerships, charitable contributions and sponsorships; development and execution( including media relations) of large scale, high impact outreach initiatives that supported the five community benefit focus areas of access to health care, obesity prevention, pre-k-12 education, behavioral/mental health and community revitalization. Consistently managed expenses under operational budget of $1million+ Several personal key accomplishments included: creating and launching IUH's signature obesity prevention initiative, Garden on the Go, a mobile produce deployment program designed to improve access to affordable produce in neighborhoods of need in Marion County and beyond. In four years I managed, GOG generated 80,000 customer transactions, 1800 unique customer transactions and sold over 300 tons of healthy food as well gained local recognition from the Indiana State Department of Health Commissioner and national recognition from the American Hospital Association and national Hospital Charitable Awards. Also, created and launched IUH's team member volunteer program, "Strength that Cares", which today has over 11,000 members statewide and annually sponsors IUH's Days of Service across the state.
