Lisa Crowe is a skilled production expert who would be an asset on any publishing team. When we worked together, she was creative, always met deadlines, and was very flexible and easy to work with. Hire Lisa and she will make your team more productive.

I had the pleasure of working with Lisa Crowe for almost 19 years, and the great fortune of managing her work for almost a decade. I truly miss having her on my team. She was in charge of several projects while working for me and delivered everything on time and met the high quality expectations required of textbook publishing. Her position as a Senior Technical Specialist had her performing desktop publishing tasks using the full Adobe Suite of applications, along with several third-party software add-ons and quite a bit of customized software interfaces. And I would recommend her highly for a similar position. But she also excelled in communicating with all of the necessary groups required to pull together a completed product to make it ready for print or digital delivery. She remained patient and willing to train people in our own department, but was also able and willing to train team members in other departments. On a handful of projects she trained new project management hires on what the roles of the various groups were, how our workflows progressed, who to communicate with for various needs, and when to perform various tasks. And in at least a couple of instances, when the project manager wasn't present, she took over their tasks as well. Lisa has fantastic communication and organization skills. She is great at knowing where the boundaries in her abilities lie and reaching out for appropriate assistance. She is great at seeing the big picture and also able to predict where potential problems lie. She is not afraid of researching to find technical solutions to verify that a suggestion she has is appropriate. She is truly a team player and always looks for how a project can be successful and finding ways to make sure all team members are included in appropriate ways. I was grateful to have been able to rely on Lisa for as long as I did and will be thrilled to work with her again. She was not only an asset to my team, but she helped me become a better manager and a better person.
