In my (now) many years in industry and academia, with many experiences of public engagement, I have rarely come across anyone who has the passion and ability to impact their community like Lisa Austin. Her many years of work in the Innovation Erie initiative is one case in point. It seems to me that she views everything she does through the lens of making things better for her fellow citizens. Lisa is indeed a rare asset for our community.

I have worked with Lisa in a number of different capacities over the last decade. She has a great way of bringing talented and caring people together for a cause greater than themselves. We have worked together on a number of different projects and Lisa always brings a tremendous amount of value in terms of execution, efficiency and leadership.
